The Theory of Stock Speculation by Arthur Crump

There a few nuggets of wisdom to be had in this book, but as I recall it wasn't an exciting read.

Some interesting quotes:

  • "People seldom tell of their losses."
  • "...the public are very seldom indeed bears."
  • "...an incomprehensible degree of confidence is placed in concoctors of companies,..."
  • "Speculators never set sufficient value upon the importance of avoiding a loss: they think
    only of the profits."
