I agree pretty much with everything the gentleman had to say. There are some alternatives, but they will only kick in with higher oil prices. Oil is still quite cheap considering all the hype - when adjusted for inflation. On the nuclear power issue I want to remark that for better fuel/waste burn-up, there are several reactors in conjunction necessary and not just one that can do everything. This then still needs better safety and R&D work and is not state of the art as people portrait it to be.
